Real estate made easy! With Eqarcom, residents of Dubai can rent apartments easily in a paper-less and digital end to end flow within the app. The app allows users to browse properties, schedule visits and place an offer for rent.
Problem Statement
How might we enhance our real estate app in Dubai to ensure that users find the paperless and seamless process of buying and renting properties as intuitive and stress-free as possible, while addressing any concerns or challenges they face in adapting to a fully digital experience?
User Research
I interviewed the users of other popular real estate applications in Dubai like Dubbizle and Bayut, to better understand what are they reasons they choose that application and then I compiled a moodboard of the most popular apps to understand the design standards.

Group Buyers“The job market in Dubai is so unstable, I cannot commit to buying a place just yet, so I am renting an apartment. Usually I have to move out of and look for a new apartment every 1-2 years. Living in a busy place like Dubai, it takes a very long time for me to find the perfect place.”
“Having living in Dubai for the past 10-15 years, I have built a life here with a steady business and investments. My schedule is usually so busy that I really need an assistant to help me plan my things. As my family is growing, I am looking for a bigger house to buy in a more family-friendly environment, but with the schedule I have it is very difficult to me to go look at new houses and the lease-signing process is also a hassle.”
